MONITORING SERVICES

We offer Standard Monitoring, 2-Way Voice Monitoring, Cellular Monitoring, and Video Monitoring.

Standard Monitoring - When your alarm goes off, the Central Station calls your premises number (to allow you to cancel if it’s a false alarm), and if no response, dispatches the authorities.

2-Way Voice Monitoring - Upon alarm it opens a two-way speakerphone connection allowing you to talk with the dispatcher and recording any sounds from the premises.

Cellular Monitoring - Uses the secure Cellular network to transmit alarms in the event your phone line has been cut, or if you have no land line.

Video Monitoring - Allows the Central Station to see what’s going on at the time of an alarm. Police respond faster when they know there is video verification of an alarm in progress. All is recorded, giving Police a picture of the perputrator.  We can use “covert cameras”, and he won’t know even he’s being watched

Reasons you may want your system monitored:

  1. For some, peace-of-mind knowing help has been dispatched upon system activation
  2. The Police may get there in time to save your valuable property or family
  3. Most Insurance companies offer a sizable discount for a monitored system.

Is Monitoring right for you?

Reasons you may not want monitoring

  1. In Alachua county, false alarms mean stiff fines
  2. If the Police can’t get there in 3 to 4 monutes, the burglars will be long gone with your valuables
  3. The traditional loud siren has always been, and still is, the biggest deterrent to the burglar
  4. With most alarm companies you must sign a multi-year binding contract to be monitored.

Is Monitoring Worth It? Maybe yes, maybe no. However, it should be your decision to make.  We at HSA have been giving people that choice for 27 years. We do not require monitoring and we do not require long-term contracts. Why should you have to pay for a service you no longer want or need?
